3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

- Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

5. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Milestones Lab — including but not limited to courses, educational materials, tools, templates, checklists, directory data, design elements, logos, and software — is the intellectual property of [Your Company Name] and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain full ownership of any content you create, upload, or store on the platform, including but not limited to your contacts, projects, notes, files, and personal data ("User Content").

Violation of these content protection terms may result in immediate account termination and may subject you to legal action.
7. Subscription & Payment
Milestones Lab offers a free tier (Contributor) as well as paid subscription tiers (Supporter, Collective). By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to the following:
- Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select
- Subscription fees are charged in advance at the beginning of each billing period
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods or unused time
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice
- Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider (Stripe); by subscribing, you also agree to their terms of service
8. Data & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:
- You may delete your account at any time through your account settings
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service
- We may terminate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, with prior notice
Upon account deletion, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for account recovery. After 30 days, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our systems. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
